To login to FedTeDS with a PKI certificate,
you must perform the following steps:
- Register: You must have completed the FedTeDS registration
process and have a valid FedTeDS username and password.
- Have a valid PKI Certificate: You must have a valid PKI certificate
issued to you by one of the Certificate Authorities that have been
cross-certified for use by the Federal Bridge Certificate Authority
(FBCA). See the list of acceptable
certificate issuers.
- Register your PKI certificate with FedTeDS: The first time
you use your PKI certificate to authenticate with FedTeDS.gov,
you will be asked to map your certificate to your FedTeDS username
and password which was created when you registered with FedTeDS.
This is a one-time process, all subsequent PKI Logins using the
same certificate, will not require this step.
Please read the PKI guide document below for more information on how
to install a PKI certificate in your browser and how to use your PKI
certificate to authenticate with FedTeDS. |
